These are some of the many Viking style belts I have made. All belts are custom made in a variety of materials and techniques and truly one of a kind. My belts are all hand made in full grain vegetable tanned leather and based on an extensive research of archaeological originals from Viking age Scandinavia.

Lamellar belt with buckle with buckle plate, strap divider with a cast ring, strap end mount and a total of 92 lamellar mounts. The lamellar mounts are abut 14x6 mm and attached with two rivets each. I used a total of 210 brass rivets mount everything to the leather. The belt is inspired by a belt from Hablingbo parish (Havor (SHM 7582) on Gotland.

Interpretation of the belt found in Birka grave Bj716. Full grain leather strap with polished edges and a eastern style hidden strap for closing the belt. Leather is dyed a deep dark red with 52 mirror polished strap mounts in bronze, buckle and two strap ends.

Narrow viking belt with twin strap dividers, buckle and strap end. The strap dividers works as suspension points for the tarsoly and knife. Buckle and strap end from the talented Alban Depper and the cast strap dividers are from Burr Öhrström.

Viking lamellar belt. Lamellar belt based on original from Barshalder and Kopparsvik on Gotland. 108 hand made bronze fittings, strap dividers and strap ends.

Custom ordered Vendel period belt. Full grain dark red leather with cross cut pattern. Hardware in gilt bronze from Bayley Heritage Castings.

Gotland style lamellar belt inspired by a find from Hablingbo parish (Havor (SHM 7582). Cast buckle with buckle plate, strap divider with a cast ring, strap end mount and one hundred lamellar mounts. The lamellar are abut 20x8 mm and attached with two brass rivets each. Dark red full grain leather strap with polished edges. Small extra buckle attached from the strap divider for attaching a coin purse.

Viking belt. 49 hand made plate mounts all in brass with copper washers and brass rivets. The belt is red dyed full grain, veg tanned leather.

Viking lamellar belt. Swedish lamellar belt based on a find from Hablingbo (SHM 7582:32) and Hellvi (SHM 23140:222) on Gotland. The lamellar plates are rivited on a thin, veg tanned, double folded strap so the edges are covered with the mounts like the original. All fittings are hand made from sheet metal with brass rivets. About 100 bronze fittings, strap dividers and strap end pieces all together.

Simple viking belt. Handmade buckle, strap end and strap divider. Based on a couple originals from Etelhem and Fröjel. Full grain, vegetable-tanned leather.
